Type of Throttle/Shift on a 1990 Baja 226 Sport Outlaw w/ 460 Cobra?

I'm installing a new Teleflex CH1700 [http://www.teleflexmarine.com/products/controls-and-cables/mechanical-dual-action/ch1700-side-mount-control/] in the boat and do not have a manual handy. Does anyone know what type of cable controls it has?

You have to look. Hard to tell what Baja used over 20 years ago.
Your's might even be different than someone with a 5.7 Cobra of the same year and model.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm a novice at engine work... could you elaborate a bit further on how to properly identify push/pull for the throttle/shift? I can identify each on the engine block, but have no idea what is the "starting point" for each.

Did you look at the instructions for your new control? Page 6 should cover it.

Actually I did and I was having trouble matching up what I thought were the right hole patterns with the cables. Didn't have enough length on them...

I was able to successfully mount the throttle cable in the #2/#2 pattern as indicated by "Pull to open throttle", but didn't have any luck reach the hole patterns on the Shift side.
