typical gas tank size for 50 hp?

ive got a 14 ft center console setting it up with an older 2 stroke 4 cyl 50 hp. i don't have much expireance with outboards. what would an average size fuel tank be for this motor?

Your motor will burn approx 5 gallons per hour at full throttle. Considerably less at its most efficient cruising speed.

Depending on how far you're going to travel, a 9-12 gal bow tank would work well, as would a couple of portable 6-gallon tanks.
