U Joint Lubrication

Just checked the U Joints on my outdrive and they seem to be the Mallory brand with the plugs instead of Zerk fitting and the orange bands around the bottom of the caps. Since there's no grease fittings I'm assuming there's no maintenance on these and as long as there's no excessive play everything is good to go?

None. Smooth as silk. Boat only has 140 hours on it. Really bummed though. I was wanting to use my $20 tube of gimbal and U-joint grease.
