90' 120 hp force l-drive, with rebuilt powerhead.<br />While pulling the lower unit to search for the source of metal fragments behind prop, I discovered the u-joint just kinda of lying loosely in there with the bearings, that looked more like rocks, falling out. From the looks of it this has been this way for a while. The manual says I need to pull the powerhead to get at the u-joint. Anyone have any suggestions/advice on u-joint repair/replacement? Is their any way I can do any repair from below, without pulling the engine?
