Uhh...I think my drive shaft is bent-advice please

My lower unit has been off for quite sometime. Now I think that it has been resting on the drive shaft. The upper bearing housing is off...but when I spin the drive shaft it makes a big circle at the top. I think it’s bent where the oil seal would go. Looking for a cheap fix, if possible.

Should I wait to put the bearing back on and reassess?

Anybody have any experience here?

I will once I get that dang seal off. This was something I noticed after it was removed. Got laid off from work with this quarantine so my posting activity may be a little too high

You couldn't bend that drive shaft if you tried. Well, possibly if you ran over it with a truck.

Faztbullet yes it is. It was the nickname of the shrimp boat I worked on as well

F_R yeah it’s just wobbling around with the bearing carrier out. Not bent.
