According to a report on O'Reilly last night, they have found all kinds of documents in Iraq showing that leaders at the highest levels in the UN, France, Germany and Russia were being bribed by Saddam as part of the oil for food program. It seems the bureaucrats kept really good records because they were afraid Saddam would accuse them of stealing the money too. Newt Gingrich is involved somehow with the investigation and lent his credibility to the charges.<br /><br />Get ready to have the world rocked to the core. Now that Kerry is on the record about the UN he is going to go down the tubes with the governments that prefer him as President. Sweet poetic justice baby!

They better be. It seems ALL (every penny) of the money for the program was handled by one bank in France. They are refusing to open their books too.<br /><br />If I were Bush or Blair I would be all over this like white on rice.

Why am I not surprised?<br /><br />France and Russia were known to be profiting greatly from clandestine trade with Iraq at the time of the big hooraw over UN participation.<br /><br />So now it appears that Saddam was buying UN Security Council votes, too. <br /><br />Maybe that is just one one of the things GWB knew about, or at least had intelligence info about, and didn't talk about.<br /><br />Should be interesting.

Info. like this will not sway any of the Bush haters, pro U.N. traitors. I can hear their denies already, lies, pure fabrication by Bush, how can you trust what a lier like Bush, and we need the U.N. to look into this. Makes you wonder what other info. we have.

Bigfun - I just hope it all comes out sooner rather than later. You can't count on the elite media to do any lifting to get the story out. It destroys their whole belief system.

Ralph – Old news. WorldNetDaily.com reported on this over a month ago. Also reported over the last 6-mons+ is the bugs and chemicals used by the WMD program in Iraq also came from corporations in France, Germany, and Russia.<br /><br />I have to wonder how much of this is U.S. propaganda and how much has any validity.<br /><br />GWB, like every other politician rattled, wet his pants and made a big show over the improprieties of the U.N. … and then paid the U.N. and continues to support it.<br /><br />EDIT

The countries that stood with us before and after 9/11 have earned our respect, those that stood in our way deserve our contempt and can not be trusted unless they get new leadership AND prove themselves worthy of our respect. A lot of other countries supported us in our war efforts. So we lose some "good friends" but we gain some new friends.

I too live in a stick built house and have been known to run through some caves so I guess I am an idiot also.<br />Like I have said before, I voted for him once and I will vote for him again.<br />At least he has the gonads to do something else besides wondering which intern he can nail.
