I have tried to no avail to twist and disconnect fuel hose line to run fuel out when the weekend fun is over. Has anyone tried to put a shut-off valve in the fuel line? I do have an in-line filter between bulb and motor also so am considering putting the valve there (threaded connector) Only negative I'm thinking is collapsing the fuel line. Thoughts or suggestions.

You hve to push it in, than twist it counter clockwise. does that help.
Plus I wouldn't run the fuel out.

When you do disconnect the line do you need to worry about fuel squirting, leaking or pouring out of either the fuel line or cowling?
