Unburnt oil/gas.. what to do

I have noticed that I'm not efficently buring my oil/gas mixture of 50:1 on my 1976 115 hp merc, top 3 cylinders where very oily others not so much, I do have a good spark, and all cylinders are firing. The motor smoke heavely and smells strong of fuel, since I'm going to be using the boat to access my deer stand, I want to cut down on this smelly smoke, as well as gain MPG. and suggestions

Rebuild the carbs, and check the restrictors on the side of the intake ports.<br /><br />TMD
