Looking for some ideas on what to put under the deck to replace floatation "bags" that were no good. This is what I found under the deck of my boat when i pulled it up.

I removed all the "bags" and got rid of any that had air leaks when I compressed them and any that had water in them. I think I trashed about 1/4 of the "bags" I found in there.

I think I had a suggestion before to use soda bottles. My concern with this is will they hold up over 10 of 15 years? They seem pretty thin and I would think would get brittle over time. I was thinking of filling them with foam but dont know how I feel about that either.

Is there anywhere to buy something similar?

Thx

Ayuh,... If ya want Foam,.... Use rigid foamboard insulation sheets, trim to fit...

Atleast they tend to self Drain....

Don't really like the idea of pour in foam trapping water and such. Kind like the "bag" (lack of a better description) design. Wanted to do something like the soda bottles just a bit thicker than soda bottle plastic.
