Wouldn't recommend Bondo for that application. MarineTex or 3M 5200 would be more suitable.

Any kind of marine application bondo is bad news. The water and bondo doesn't mix to well together. Also slow down on the caps. Sometimes it's viewed as yelling.

WELL GETTING BACK TO YOUR QUESTION THE DAMAGE IS MINOR HOWEVER IT'S KIND OF MESSY... RIGHT NOW i,M STANDING BY TO SAND THE BOTTON AND REPAIR WITH GEL-COAT TILL IT LEAKS NO MORE....:)

A Quik Fix is like no other?

A Quik Fix is like no other?

:cool:Whaaazzzzzzzzup People,
This 1977 Boston Whaler was purchase a couple of month ago I thing it was worth a try to take out and been in the salt water six times with a 1986 with a 30 hp morter.. I love to fish and take care of the equipment I use to get there. While washing I notice a chipping underneath and sure enough there it was...I was hoping I 'll have no problem with the boat however I already encounter trailer problem like tire flying off, bearing replacing, springs replaced and side protector along with fender replce... I'm pretting much confident for the time being after loosing and returning twice to the garage as well for a little breakdown repair. Now the i guess is the boat turn which I'm depending on it for the rest of the year and I could make my final assessment of any major repairs for the coming year or if its worth it. Any input will be apprecaite

Thank You :cool:peoples
