Hi
Despite the fault clearing on the VesselView and not evident. The shift anticipate fault in screenshot below is still lurking when the dealer logs into my data. This is a 90% guardian error, I think. Do I need the proper rinda plugged in to reset this ? Strange that it’s still showing up on this.

Does VesselView have a 'clear codes' option? If so, clear the code. If not, yes you need the Diacom software to clear the code.

Yeah. That’s the thing though Chris. It’s no longer showing as a fault on the VesselView. Only shows up on the dealer system, when he logged into it last week. Haven’t used the boat since last year and only used it about 4/5 times in total since the date the fault is logged on. When it was used..I only had one of the props for it on, that will hit the limiter. So didnt notice if it was down on power really.

It sounds like an 'historic' fault and that's possibly why you're not seeing it on VV. Is there an option to display historic faults? (not being a user of VV I'm pretty much 'educated' guessing here)

Chris....

Not sure Chris. I’ll have a look, next time she is in the water. It definitely showed up when it happened. But thought it cleared. Just weird that it’s still on the proper software. I’ll run the prop with more pitch to see if it’s being restricted too.

This is normal... The plug in scan tool systems will still "show" a passed "history fault" like that until they're cleared... so as long as the fault is not active, the engine will resume normal operation all the while let's call it the live data active fault watchers keep remaining trouble free the VesselView, smart craft, etc. should not really show (recognize) those passed faults shown to be an issue and will run 100% power until something happens again...If they were an issue now, you should be hearing a warning horn too plus lower power/RPM, etc..

Thanks for that. The thing is…I’ve only used the boats a few times since then and only with lower pitch prop. So it limits easily anyway. Never really noticed if it was limiting at 5100 or 10% less.

It's possible that the 'fault' occurred and then cleared itself before you were running fast enough to notice.
