underwater lights

[Five O'Clock]

has anybody installed some underwater lights, or recommend any? I was thinking about putting some under my swim platform for some night time fun but i dont know much about them..

any thoughts? do's/don'ts? good idea/bad idea?

i use water lights to night fish with. i dont know exactly what your looking for, but you can get a fishing light at walmart for $12. you could easily rig up a couple under the swim deck. it would be cheap and they put out a lot of light. it will also get the shad circling around the boat... you could drop a line over it a catch a big striper or bass... dual function!

Yeah. They are waterproof. The are small incandescent lights in a cylindrical mount that is about 10 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. They would mount under a boat with a little ingenuity. Not exactly a high dollar deal... But they put out a lot of light cheap. I looked online but could not find the one im thinking of. I will look at mine tonight. if you are interested send me a message and i can get you the name.
