HAS ANYONE EVER HOOKED UP ONE OF THESE ON A LATE 70'S OMC I'M NOT SURE IF I'M MISSING PARTS OR WHAT I'M NOT SURE HOW TO GET THE OMC CABLES HOOKED TO THE THROW LEVERS THE ONES ON THE KIT ARE MERC STYLE AND ARE TO SHORT TO FIT THROUGH OMC PLASTIC CABLE ENDS. THE END ONE THE SHIFTER USE SNAP RINGS INSTEAD OF SCREWS?

if the box has universal cables in it you can buy adapters for the cables, if not you will have to buy new cables--Bob
