unsiezing success

After unsiezing an engine do most seem to perform well?? What are the chances of messing up the cylinder walls and pistons with the crud that is in there?? Is there any way to help flus this crud out before starting??

i usually use a good penitrating oil in the cylinders somthing like PB blaster and hand rotate the engine a few times spraying more in there as us u turn the engine over. also when u start it for the first time use more oil in your mix. you might fowl a few plugs but its better then breaking a ring. i have done it many times and had good luck with it
