I have a (what I believe is an Evinrude outboard), but I am not sure as there was no cover over the motor when I got it. I have been looking all over the internet, and cannot find information on what I think is my serial number. On the front of the motor is a tag that says the model number is 25460, but on top of the motor, there is a plug that has both the 25460 number and 35516 number. I can find the 35516 number making my motor a 1959 35 HP motor. But then why can I not find the number that is on the tag. Any information would help tremendously. Thank you.
