i wanted to let you know that i pulled the plugs and tested them and there was no fire. no fire on 2 of three plugs and i didnt test the third. i called the boat shop and they said mercs are notorious for sator problems and he thinks it may be the problem. i am taking it up there tomorrow. he said the stator is 200 bucks and something else was 188 and the labor was 200 bucks
but if it fixes the problem it will be a good investment.
