Update 1987 merc 115 I-6

Hi people well I think I finally am going to get my motor squared away the tech who worked on it last fall didn't know what he was doing the he replaced a trigger coil that was just tested good by another mechanic who just cleaned off the connectors they were corroded! Well anywho everything checked out good and the engine is still only sparking on 2/4 cylinders so he's going to replace both switchboxes and maybe I can go fishing soon it scares me to think they're are people who say they are techs but can't do this I'm going to see if I can get some of my 204.00 back I paid for a new trigger coil I didn't need.

The mechanic replaced both switchboxes set the timing synch link etc and my motor runs like a champ I guess it helps to have someone who knows what they're doing work on your motor. Its been a while whewww!
