Got tired of chasing it, plus had a couple of other issues, so decided to just dump it all, Reload Windows XP Pro, and make it new again! Never replaced anything, got a clean install and we are on the web again! Running like a million bucks!!

LubeDude  :D

It's just Bill Gates at it again....
He's just punching buttons and crashing various systems...

LOL!

I just fought a battle with my video drivers and XP Pro...

I WON!

I think my computer knows it's being upgraded to new and better stuff in the near future.

H.

Sounds cool LubeDude. that is what you have to do sometimes. Sometimes the repair portion of the install works, other times it is a waste. LGad you are back online.

This is the first computer that I have built as I mentioned before (Im 55) only been at computers for 3 Years! I know now that I didnt get a "clean install" The first time I booted it up! I remember haveing to restart the install a couple of times the first time!! Didnt know any better then! I know now that if it stops to start over untill you get a "clean install" Everything went perfect this time and the new computer is humming away like no tomorrow! I have to say that it didnt take near as long as I thought that it would! Had all my driver and program disks handy, all in all I would say about 4 Hrs. and I had all programs in and ready to go! Im not running a lot of programs compared to a lot of others I know! Photo 7, Correl, of course windows XP Pro, digital camera, Smart card reader, all in one HP Printer, Norton, acrobat!

Happy now

LudeDude :D
