I have a 5.7l 1988 with a thunderbolt ignition. I need to replace the fuel pump. I think that it uses a Merc Part #97401A8, what is the AC equivalent? Is it a 41412?

Any idea if I got the merc # right and is the cross right?

Thanks

Go to your local NAPA and ask to see the book on their Sierra line of marine parts. They have most Mercruiser, OMC, & Volvo parts. Prices are much better than Merc.

Hey I found the exact mercruiser # I need. It is 861678A1. Its in bad shape and is leaking into the carb with the relief tube.

I have a chance to buy a AC marine fuel pump, 41412. I just don't know if it crosses. Looks mean nothing. Is there a cross reference somewhere?

Thanks again guys

I believe that the 41412 number is the one for my pump...which went on a 305 Chevy, should be the same pump.
