hey everyone i fix the problem on my merc 5.7L hot running starboard riser.<br /><br />the fix was i install a new thurmostat housing.<br /><br />the old one was, right where the two check ball sits, the lips was rot off so the balls was not sitting snug so now my heat guge stay at 150 and the risers is just warm and nice.<br /><br /><br />thanks for all the input. and great help.
