Update on Prop

Thanks to suggestions I went with the 17 ALUM Hustler prop from the OEM 19 on my Glastron SX175 with the 3.0l Volvo. As predicted the rpm went up from 4400 @wot to 4600 rpm and the speed went down from 35 to 32. The boat is much quicker and planes out much faster. I think this is the prop for which I was searching.

Sorry to hear that the top speed went down - I wouldn't have expected that.

This is the second post where it was reported that speeds went down with the Hustler - I'm picking up a patern here.

BTW, the stock Volvo props are reported to be very good aluminum props. Is this what you had?
