updating a '76 Renken bowrider

I have a 1976 19' open bow Renken with a sterndrive Mercruiser that I want to refurbish. Since its 35 years old it obviously looks dated. I already am taking care of any engine repairs, etc. Besides the obvious renovations like new upholstery and restoring the gelcoat and whatever else that would entail what would somebody recommend to make it look a little more contemporary like a newer style boat? What ammenities could be added that is now standard on new boats that could be added? New gauges, new steering wheel, some lights for the interior, paint job, decals for the exterior and so on. Has anybody done something like this to a similar aged boat? Got any pictures? Need some sage advice from a pro. Thanks.
