I've come across a Boston Whaler 15-Sport for sale locally in Maine. The hull is a 1978 and the motor is a 1988 70hp Evinrude she is also sitting on a newer trailer. The seller is asking $3800. A very fair price for this boat. He is selling for health reasons. I don't think he use's computers which is a plus for me because he could sell it pretty fast online at that price.

I want to buy this boat, but can't afford it without selling at lease one of the two boats I currently own, I'd like to sell them both.

(EDIT: Sorry Ryan. If you want to offer a boat for sale on iboats you need to use the Boats Classified. We don't allow offers to sell in the Board.)

Do you think this can be done or am I being optimistic?

Depends on the seller. This is certainly not the best time of year to sell a boat. Then again, he might just be getting an early start. If he's in a hurry to sell, he might go for it. If he's getting an early start, I doubt he's going to jump at the first offer if it depends on you selling your other boats first.

I found some the old thread with pictures of my old woody: (EDITED)
Thanks for the reply,
Willy.

I woundn't tell the seller that I had to sell my boats and jump threw a hoop before i could buy his. I'd prolbey just ask him to hold it untill spring and give him a deposit.
