Considering it's age, I wouldn't spend much time or money squeezing more out of it. Them parts have been stressed for a long time now. Getting more ponies could cause something to snap. Maybe 2-stage reeds, but that's as far as I'd go.<br /><br />Or if you're adventurous, get Splitfire sparkplugs, a whale tail, one of them Tornado thingys they're advertising for cars, Slick 50 two-stroke treatment(can you get that crap anymore?), and run AMSOIL at 100:1. Then you'll save tons of gas...because they'll blow your motor up and you won't be ABLE to run any gas thru it anymore.

<br /><br />Best way to get the most out of it at this point is with a good satainless prop. No hard and fast rules as to which one is best for your application. Only experimentation would give you the best result.<br /><br />I like Trent's idea, but save yourself a lot of money. Start ripping stuff out of the boat to lighten it.
