I'm going to put a stainless steel prop on my 2001 Johnson 150..

The stock prop is a 14 1/2 21 inch pitch. I'm looking for som suggestion on what to go with?

Thanks

Re: Upgrading Prop

Welcome to iboats

More info is needed. What rpm is the motor turning @ WOT presently? What boat is it on? Where is the anti-ventilation plate in regard to the keel of the boat? What is your present prop as in make and material? And what dd do with the boat, ie, ski, wakeboard, fish , cruise? and what do you what to change?

Re: Upgrading Prop

Sorry. for the lack of information.

The boat is a 2001 Crestliner 1850 Sport Fish / Johnson 150.
The anti-ventilation plate is about 4 - 6 inches below the keel.
The current prop is aluminium (Johnson Stock), 14 1/2 X 21.
I don't know the RPM @ WOT (I can't find out either, my son chopped up the prop this past weekend).
Top speed is 48 - 52.
I use the boat mostly for fishing, but do pull 2 - 3 tubs around from time to time.
I want to increase speed and gain more control

Thanks
