new to me and she was not cared for as could have been. heres the details. The upholstery is in generaly good condition except some blackening.

It is not cracked or even faded but is more than dirt. what pruducts if any can be used to clean this up and not due harm to upholstry, and what could be used to eliminate further damage.

Also i am confidant you all can help me so i would also like to take the opertunity to ask what product if any should be applied to keep the seats younger longer.

I dont know specifically what upholstry Crestliner uses however it appears to be a run of the mill vynal(spelling) or plastic like

I know the black yuck of which you speak...

I deal with it by using de-greaser like Simple Green or another product called Formula 88(I think)which I cut Half water/Half de-greaser in a spray bottle and a soft scrub brush... Try it on a small inconspicuous area first to make sure it does not cause any ill effects..

After you've got everything all clean and shiney apply some Armor All or better yet 303 Protectant to keep it looking good and to protect it from VU rays...

Appriciate thoughts, my first thought was simple green, good stuff. I have my reservations about armoural sounds to me like leaves seats slippery and greasy do you find this. tell me more about this 303 product does it have simular attributes of armoural.

also i have read good things about this spraypaint but would you recomend it for a seat that has no damage other than black. in otherwords will it leave it looking second rate compared to original finish provided i can get rid of black without damage.
P.s. Im outahere till tomarrow will respond later

303 does shine initially, but not greasy as amorall. well, its what the trim shop suggested, and its great on the things i've used it on. vinyl paint worked for me too, but i wouldn't use it if you're not changing color. just clean it up, and if its chalky lookin, use protectant like 303...

then if still not happy, run a search on 'cleaning canvas' or 'cleaning vinyl'

good luck :)
