I have some faded and cracked upholstery I'm planning on having re-done this winter. In the meantime I'd like to cover some of the worst spots. I've done the seats by the enigne compartment and they look OK...better than they did for sure, bit it's obvious I'm not an expert.
I have a large hinged L shaped 'hood' by the engine compartment that goes all the way across the stern and tilts up. In my signature pic you can see it behind me. It has a teal stripe running through the center. I'd rather not get too involved in removing it, cutting the vinyl, attaching it, and re-installing it only to have it all re-done anyways. But I'd like to make it nicer for the rest of the season. I have enough marine vinyl to cover it. My question...is there an adhesive I can use to cover the old vinyl with new?
