Upper crank bearing lubrication - 1995 175 Ocean Pro Model No. E175EXEOM

Hello all,

I'm performing a major tune up on my 1995 175 Ocean Pro Model No. E175EXEOM. I would like to ensure that the upper crank bearing is getting sufficient lubrication. Is lubrication provided via the check valve (Part No. 435681) and nipple located at the top of the crankcase? Does any lubrication come from the pulse nipple (Part No. 303492) or is the pulse nipple just for vacuum? Thank you all in advance for your help.

Oil moves from the lower part of the motor to the top.-----What do you mean by a " major tune-up " on this motor ?----List the things you are looking at / replacing / going over .
