Guys,
Needing some helpful advice. I have just stripped down my Yamaha P60 1992 (carbs fuel pump and head) on doing so i snapped three of the head bolts in the block, I managed to drill out the first two bolts and re tap the holes no problem however on the third and final bolt the drill bit snapped in the block, i decided to drill out the hole to a larger diameter and fit a helicoil but indoing so i cracked the block from the head bolt hole to the water jacket. Is anyone aware of any reapirs that can be carried out for my stupidity? (I was thinking about giving it to a machine shop to fill and retap but dont know if this is possible) and also how easy is it to separaty the engine block from the lower leg?
