URGENT HELP identifying part on motor asap

I cant seem to find what this part is for! hard to search for it in the online manual too when you have no idea what its called.

Does this line go anywhere?! what is it for? where does it go... last thing I need to figure out before finishing this and running it

Why don't you start by identifying the motor?

I could do some looking if I knew what motor it is. Only figure its either a Mercury or Mariner because it is in this section

sorry guys its a 1992 75 hp mercury 3 cyl

i figured out its a enrichment valve but no idea where the one hose goes... the bottom hose goes to the other side that has the lines going to the block / carbs

From my research It connects to the top carb with a 90 degree fitting, see pic and link below

I ended up putting the wrong carb bowl on the top carb.. its on the bottom carb which is why i couldnt figure out for the life of me why the bottom bard had nothing LOL

motor was sitting for over 2 years... was hard starting, didnt idle, didnt run well at all, carbs where gummed up, the primer bulb didnt hold pressure, over all ran rough...



a little patience sweat and some help on here and pretty sure I got her tuned in nicely!
