urgent! need help quick! lower end stuck

the lower unit on a 1992 johnson spl 48 is stuck. we took all the bolts off and its not comin off. is there anything else i have to unbolt?

i need someone to help me! this has to get done by tomarrow because thats when the guy is comin to pick up his boat

Did you disconnect the shift rod?

what is the procedure to disconnect the shift rod. and that should be it right?

I'll try and help, sometimes people forget to disconnect the shift rod. That's found under the carburetor just follow the shift cable back from your controls and you should see it. It should be a screw or a cotter pin.

Is there a bolt under the trim tab on the 48?

there is a bolt under the trim tab on a 50 so should be on the 48.
