No, I'm NOT trying to start another Great Stuff war here!

For those of you that have used the US Composites foam, did you use the 2lb, or the 4lb density foam? Just wondering, since it states that the 2lb foam's primary use is under deck, yet says that it will only "resist" water and that continous water contact will degade the foam.

Yes, I know, done right in a perfect world, it shouldn't see continous water, but if there's any area in a boat that will it's sure the area that the foam will be in in most cases.. therefore the question.

Thanks!
Roger

I am pretty sure I used the 2 lb stuff. Whatever was the least expensive. I don't worry about any possible water saturation, I take great pains to never allow water to stand in my hull, an I am successfull, despite the fact that the boat stays in the water from May to late Sept. I just use a cover with struts to keeps the rain out.
