Delaware has a quirk to it, rear tags only, leaves the front wide open for a custom tag, and I always loved the Chevy USA 1 tag

any other cool tags out there?

maybe an airbrushed tag, lol, Red Ryder

or just Rayven

eh, time to git, back later!

:D :D :D :D

hehehe, well, mustang II maybe :p

with its mighty Vortec 2200 popcorn popper engine, the only thing Ill eat is dust ...

but Ill do it in STYLE, lol

Ill tell ya tho, there was a guy hadda be sixty years old, bald, pudgy, yanno, what Ill be like in 20 years if I lose some weight! anyway, he had just signed the papers for a super suburban, all the bells and whistles and some custom stuff too, AND, AND, for when he doesnt need to tote 8 people in sybaritic luxury, AND a Commemorative Edition Convertible CORVETTE right off the showroom floor, the Centerpiece Star of the Showroom to boot - this place had a 110 thousand dollar hummer up on a rack with mirrors beneath it, and it might have well been invisible, people drawn to the vette like moths to a flame

Personally, my truck is prettier than that Vette, a vette should be sleek and swoopy, like a model in a miniskirt, this thing is blocky and cubist looking

however

I would have happily beat the guy simple for the sheer rush of hammering that vette around for a few hours, massive tires, 475 plus horsepower, if I wrecked the thing and died, it would take years to get the smile off my face, I bet it launches off the line like its hooked to a steam catapult
(nucar is a performance tuner dealership as well, the car was 60 grand, they max out at 48, his UPGRADES to the motor cost more than my truck!

ah well, Ill be doin that too

one day

Must be nice to be able to through around that kinda money! I have driven a few fast cars in my days, the fastest by far (on top end) was a boniville my dad had. Made tele poles look like a solid wall, if I had hit one I would have hit 50 before i had a chance to get back to the road (yea right) When I took it back to him I told him he needed to get rid of it! Never drove a vet, but I have been beside a few! Well that was a few years back, I am starting to restore the old cuda, just found the last missing piece or chrome, and a solid lifter factory engine (273). My son has tried many times to talk me out of it, I just keep telling him it's to fast for him!
Richard

sounds like a fun project!

My sister married a dipchit because he had a purple Dodge Swinger 340, Plum Crazy they called it in the day, and that thing was seriously FAST, I took it out and hammered the hell out of it when I was 15, the speedometer went to 150 and it was buried .... now if it was accurate or not I dont know, but that four barrel opened up and it was GONE, dressed up Dart on steroids, but you prolly know more about Swingers than I do, lol,

I have a project going on as well, Tow Beast II, a 79 Econoline with a 300 SuperSix that runs like new, and air conditioning, I converted it to Auto, C-6 trans, should do a good job

Interior is like new too, just have to get the thing painted

:D

Plum crazy, that would sell really well about now! Never cared for the color though they were sharp. Sounds like you'll have a good tow rig when you get done. Those supper 6's are great engines, and a c6 behind it (with a trany cooler) should hold up well. I looked for the 413 hemi for mine for a while, never found one in fair shape at a price I was ready to give, man that would be fun. In 64 the 413 made 415hp, tweak that with some of todays technolgy and ,,, you had tires back there? I see more and more of the old mopars around fixed up, just makes me want to get mine ready that much more!
Richard
