USA to UK conversion plug

I have an EZ loader trailer with the following connector on it:

and was wondering if I could get hold of a conversion plug to go from this to fit into my 7 pin plug jeep socket:

i don't believe there is a direct conversion, but you could make a pig tail converter. parts and directions.

Just an afterthought, in case. If the vehicle has come from the UK, with 50mm ball, it may be undersize for a USA trailer hitch/tongue. Are they 2"?

trailer tows no problem, but I just wanted the lights to work

Super easy to make, just get ahold of a molded female pigtail for your trailer plug (at least common in the USA), then get a spare male for your jeep, figure out the wiring and wire your new flat plug female wires to it. Budda bing.

The only complication you might encounter is that if your jeep uses a seperate bulb for the turn indicators and brake lights then you will need solid state gizmo that can handle that. Undoubtedly, looking at your trailer plug, the trailer brake and turn bulb element are one and the same.

Why not just replace the connector on the Jeep with a version that will fit your trailer?

Thanks for the advice guys. I would not replace the trailer connector on the jeep as I will not be able to use it for anything else as all trailer plugs in the UK and Europe for that matter are 7 pin as per mine.
Guess I will try and cut the USA plug off and rewire it to a new male 7 pin.
