have to sell evinrude 86 150 w/ 25in shaft, what is a good asking price. compression fluctuates in one cylinder. was told it was rebuilt in 99. can see .30 on one of the pistons through spark plug hole.so it was atleast rebuilt once.

NADA has it ranging from $690-$820 depending on condition. How much does the compression vary, and under what circumstances? What are the readings for the rest of the cylinders?

awarm comp test wasnt done just a cold. all cylinders except one read 92, the last one fluctuates<spelling> between 32 and 92. have sprayed wd40 in all cylinders turned over by hand to distribute and let set. after a couple days went back and sprayed decarb turned by hand let that set. then squirted 20cc of 2cycle oil and turned by hand and thats the way it sets til i can get the ignition switch on the boat changed. have someone coming over to check all electrical systems because of corrosion from boat sitting for a year and a half. lower unit was clean when drained using a strainer. would keep if boat wasnt rated at 125hp.

well as it turns out the motor is actually a 1982 175hp.<boy do i feel stupid> was told it needs new head gasket that why its fluctuating comp in #6cyl.
