I was wnating to know if anybody knows where to get used props? I want to try other sizes of props but don't want to shell the dough to buy all new ones just to try!! Thanks!!
Most marine repair shop will have a pile of them somewhere along with their "parts pile."<br /><br />You might be better off going to a prop shop if there is one in your area. Sometimes they will let you "try before you buy." They will also be the best ones to recommend the right prop for your situation.
Ive bought and sold several props on Ebay, normally you can tell by the picture and the description how good they are. Normally you can get them for abought half price of new. However the High Five I just bought was a little scared up. I got it for a good deal and I was able to remove the scratches and repolish it so it looks like new.
