I'm going to be doing more vehicle service work, but unfortunately, will have to be working under vehicles, that are on jackstands.

Looking for a good and inexpensive way to pump gear lube/ATF, from a quart, or gallon container, into the fill hole, of a transmission or differential.

It should be easy to control flow and preferrably easy to pump with one hand.

Anybody seen, or use such an animal?

Re: Useful Gear lube transfer pump

with the exception of the ones I have used in the Army and in garages... they have all attached to a 5 gallon pail and were fairly high.... too high for jack stands but the hose would reach.

Usually had someone pump while someone watched underneath.

Northern tool has some but you are talking $175+ which does not fall into the inexpensive range.

Cheapest gear oil pump is the plastic ones for lower unit oil...... plastic pump but that would take lots of time.
