Hey guys. I currently have a humminbird lcr 3004 fish finder. The metal bracket for the transducer is screwed into the bottom of the transom using three screws then siliconed over. I would like to get a newer piranhamax humminbird. The problem is that i don't think the bolt hole patern will match up. I can fix the holes and start over but the new one will probably go where the old one went and i don't want to have to drill new holes so close to the old ones. Can anyone help.

Remove old and fill holes with Marinetex 5200, let cure. Mount tranducer mounting board over existing area. These boards are available at most suppliers of depth finders, or use a piece of 1/2" king starboard. Mount new transducer to it.
