what happens if someone used a prop for a smaller outboard with a 4" gearcase on a mrecruiser alpha one? the splines appear to fit corredctly, but there is a difference in diameter where it meets the gearcase. does this cause any propblems?
what about having a prop with a smaller diameter blade (13" opposed to 14.25"?)
woukld a five blade 13" diameter prop be okay to try on an alpha one, it has the smaller hub,
