Using standard bunk trailer for octagonal shaped pontoons?

Considering an older Kennedy pontoon boat with octagonal shaped pontoons. Too long for shorter trailers with rollers made for Kennedy's current line-up of shorter boats.

Any suggestions for how to tow an older, longer Kennedy with its octagonal pontoons?

I looked at pictures, but I couldn't see what the bottom edge is. I assume the very bottom of the pontoons are a flat edge? I don't know why a universal bunk type pontoon trailer wouldn't work for you. In the worse case scenario you would have to have the bunk boards angles a little different to follow the angles of your pontoons better. It wouldn't need to be perfect. When you think about it, a standard round pontoon simply sits against two flat boards that are mounted in 'V' shape to cradle the pontoons.

Yes, I suppose that would do the trick.

On the maker's web site they mention trailers made specifically for their boats with horizontal rollers onto which the flat bottoms roll. They make only smaller pontoon boats now maybe a longer trailer could be modified to have these rollers.
