v-150 vs. 150XR2

I've got an '84 merc v-150 and my bud at work has an '85 merc 150XR2. What is the difference in these two? Engine specs seem to be the same. thanks -D

Should be, XR2 is a 2.0 litre carb'd 150. Has a smaller lower unit and runs a smaller hub diameter prop. If it isn't religeously cared for, they don't last long. Bigger hub lower bolts on.
