What would cause this type of motor to only foul plugs on port side?

I Believe odd number cylinders 1.3.&5.

I have been told my 3 carb setup has preset air fuel mixture, which i believe since there is no adjustment that I can find.

switch the switch box,s and see if it moves to 2,4&6.the air mixture adjustment is made by bigger jets in the carb located in that v just above the throats.

i have a 1988 135 and there are air jets in that V in the front of the carb an inch over from your finger.i drilled mine out using indexed drill bits,i disconnected my oil injection and it was running rich.
