Vacuflush sealing

Tried to remove one of my Vacuflush hoses off the holding tank during the current rebuild. I could not budge the hose so I cut it off. It's on there so tight I wondering if some sort of sealant was used. Looking around I can find plenty of manuals but note state how to install the hoses on fittings or if sealant is used.

Anyone have info on the recommended installation instructions?

I'm looking at the installation instructions for my SeaLand vacuflush setup and it says nothing about sealant on the hose connections; simply recommends double hose clamps.

Dometic recommends that each hose connection be secured with two hose clamps to prevent any leaks.
Position clamps 180 degrees and tighten

Thanks, that is the way it is connected. Sent an email and received a return, they say apply heat and use a pair of cannel locks and wiggle until its loose

Don't know about anyone else, but I use Lifeseal on the fittings when sealing any hose connections on heads. I certainly do not want any leaks on them bad boy's....
Lifeseal is removable rather easily and works good. Heat and a hose pick gets them off of need be.

No Title

It's for getting between the hose and fitting for easier removal....
