vacuum gauge placement

I want to set up the carb on a 2000 Volvo Penta 4.3liter . Can somone tell me where I can hook up a vacuum gauge on this engine.?

And where is the high vac port? are you talking about the pvc line connection?

look for a plug in the intake runner behind the carb,or find a vacume sourse on the carb that has vacume at idle.

The vacuum port is half way between the carb and dist. There's either a plug or fitting.

Run a vacuum hose to your dash and you can monitor the engine. As you learn how to read the vacuum, it will tell you many aspects of how the engine is performing and be able to pick up problems
