Two wires go to the vacuum switch that enables/disables the electric shift power. My harness was rotted and one of the wires I could
not figure where it should go. I know one wire is right that goes to the shifter switches up front but, should the other wire go to B+ or should it go to the IGN hot wire? I have no diagram for a 1968 model engine.....any ideas??

PS...also, is the rubber diaphram available at OMC for this vacuum sw. or do you have to buy the whole sw. ?? mine is rotted........

Thanks

Mike..... Pertaining to the wiring of the vacuum switch, one wire is connected to the battery cable terminal of the starter solenoid. The other wire is connected to the power supply terminal of the shift switch.

If you haven't located a diaphram yet, I still have a couple in stock. I believe they list for about $6.50.
