first question, where does NADA get there prices from? They have this engine valued a $695, no way, no how.

Anyway, does anyone have a relistic value for a 1997 yamaha, low hrs. long shaft, electric start, power tilt, tiller, 4 blade prop. lower end...

thanks

$695?? I'll take two! Thanks :)

Hmm... just from my browsing, I would say $950-$1250. Depends on the area and the market there I think too.

Who cares about NADA?....it all depends on the condition of the motor and the going price in your area at a given time...a lot like the proverbial "sack of corn";)

My only concern about NADA is when I asked my insurance co. what they based the value of my motors on, they said NADA book.
So as you can see, my 135hp Honda and 15 Merc. arn't worth much, per NADA and my ins. co., but if they should get stolen and I would need to replace them I'm screwed.
