Right now I have a unknown aluminum, and am thinking of jumping over to the Vengeance. I'm on a 17 pitch just squeaking out 4900 RPM on a 1984 90 Yamaha AETO in a fibre deep-v hull. My boat seams to like the motor up high but and trimmed high, but this aluminum isn't fond of the setup. Should I stick with the same pitch on the Vengeance or drop down to a 16 pitch, or is there a better recommendation? I'm looking for some gains in the mid range to WOT. 4300rpm nets me about 27mph.
