Hi everyone,
Best wishes from Finland! My first post here as we changed the boat and I have had outboard engine so far...
-------
Engine is Mercruiser 5.0 MPI model year 2010 with Bravo 3, used about 160 hours. Based on Vesselview engine SW is MY2007p2AAAA.
Vesselview reports three problems in engine, but I believe these has nothing to do with the problem I have with VesselView.
- Trim sender failure (1012-24), this seems to be actual problem also in manual gauge
- Fuel sender failure (701-24), not actual problem as fuel sender is connected directly to manual gauge
- Pitot sender failure (451-25), I believe this is not a problem based on search results in internet...

Tested with iPad pro, iPhone 12 and android OnePlus 7 Pro. Same happens with all of them. Vesselview Bluetooth module changed to another one as well as Terminator.
Application does show every time RPM's correctly, but other information is not usually shown, just rarely. For example engine temperature, voltages, fuel consumption...
Sometimes temperature and voltages are shown correctly when power on, but after starting the engine the data is frozen and only RPM's are updated. Sometimes all other than RPM is shown as --
sometimes, but not very often everything is working, but after turning off engine and starting again same problem occurs again.

Any ideas, what might be the problems and possible fix for that?

Where are you getting the power for the Bluetooth and Vessel View devices?

Sounds like the network is dropping out from an under-voltage condition.

Try powering the devices from a power source separate from the boat's ignition system to see if changes anything

Thanks for the answer. Power to Bluetooth device is coming from the connector in engine - there is no any separated power input. In Vesselview bluetooth adapter there are only two connectors, one to the engine and one for the terminator.
I also wonder that RPM is working correctly all the time if Bluetooth is dropping?

Hi. With regards to the faults shown. These are things to be ignored and blocked. You don’t have those sensors fitted. As for the data freezing..it must be to do with your installation or your device trying to or being connected to something else, like the stereo.
