VHF DSC / GPS interface...HELP!!!!!

Hi.
Hope someone can help me here as I'm really struggling. I have a Garmin 152 GPS with external antennae. I have now bought a Cobra DSC VHF radio. I'm trying to interface the two without success. The GPS has 5 wires (apart from the red pos and black neg) these colours are: blue, white, green, brown and yellow. The radio has a black and red wire. My question is: which wires do I connect together to get the two pieces of equipment to talk to each other?
Any help really appreciated!!!!!!

Garmin blue to radio red
Garmin blk to radio blk

Garmin is the talker. Radio only listens
