I have a Mercruiser 7,3 litre turbo diesel and a Bravo Three drive and have alot of vibration if i tilt drive up or down from center.

Could it be the engine coupler thats broken?? I checked the u-joint and it was feeling tight..
The vibration is also there when i drive stright forward with drive tilted up .. Not to far up..

somtimes when your trim is up your prop might be cavitating. when u go fast like that your prop wont be completely under water and will cause vibration. i d k for sure about your other problems with vibration but my boat does that when it is trimed up like that

That's the driveline I Dream of installing into My Boat,...... Best I've got So Far,.. Is an Engine.......

Anyway,........
If the U-joints Felt Right,+ Took Grease properly,.... I'd probably rule them out,......

Did you Inspect,+ Grease the Gimbel Bearing while you had the drive off,..???....

How about the Engine/Drive Alignment,..??...

I'm not sure if that rig uses a rubber hubbed coupler,.. Or a metal sprung flexplate,....

If it's the rubber hubbed Bravo Coupler,.... I Doubt that's the issue,..... When they Break,... Nothing Moves.......

If it's a metal sprung Flexplate,..... I Suppose it's Possible,..... But I'd think it would follow the Engines rpms,.. rather than the angle of the drive...........

U-joints took grease, gimbal bearing is new. Engine alignment is right , i think . I used mercruiser's special tool til align.
Rubber coupler is the one installed.

I noticed wear and smal marks on the driveshaft that goes in the engine right where the bearing is so that is the clue that points to the coupler i think. Is there more than one way to align the engine and the gimbal bearing??
